ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION
New Students:
All newly enrolled students are expected to attend the orientation week of activities and complete their registration process prior to the first day of class. Students who do not attend the orientation week may be deferred to the following semester.
Returning Students:
All returning students are expected to complete their registration by the end of the first week of the semester. Notice of the registration dates, late registration period, deadlines and fees will be placed on the University’s website. This information can be updated at the sole discretion of the Office of the Registrar. Students are responsible for checking the University’s website for updates and changes with regards to registration or contacting the Office of the Registrar for further information.
REgistration
Late Registration Fee:
The late registration period will be determined and posted by the Office of the Registrar. A late registration fee will be charged as follow: –
- First business day of late registration: US $100.00
- Second business day of late registration: US $125.00
- Third business day of late registration: US $175.00
- Fourth business day of late registration: US $200.00
Registration after the Late Registration period has ended: US $300.00. Any student seeking to register after the closure of the late registration period must receive approval from the Office of Student Affairs.
VISA REGISTRATION
New Students:
All new students traveling to campus will be required to complete Immigration Registration upon arrival on campus or before the end of the first week of the semester. This process is necessary for students to obtain their Student Visa and Residency Permit status during their program. This is a separate visa from the entry visa issued for traveling into St. Vincent and must be completed by ALL students.
Returning Students:
All returning students must update their immigration status with the Office of Student Affairs at the beginning of the semester.
Student Visa Processing Fee: Any student submitting a passport for a Student Visa endorsement with less than 14 days validity of the current Student Visa will be charged a non-refundable Student Visa Processing Fee of US $100.
Students requiring a Student Visa Endorsement are asked to speak with the Immigration Liaison, Mr. Kelvin Malcolm to initiate the process. Students are required to complete an immigration form and submit their passport to the Office of Immigration at the Belair Campus of Richmond Gabriel University, SVG for processing of Student Visa Endorsement Application. Students are not allowed to deposit or uplift passport on behalf of another student.
RETURNING FROM LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Undergraduate and Basic Science Students:
Students should petition the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs at least 2 weeks prior to the intended date of return for permission to return to study. Students must prove that the circumstances leading to the Leave of Absence has been addressed and they are ready to resume their studies without further interruptions. Once permission is granted by the Dean of Student Affairs, the Student MUST then contact the Officer of the Registrar to begin the resumption process.
Clinical Clerkship Students:
Students should inform the Offices of the Dean of Student Affairs and the Dean of Clinical Affairs of their intent to resume their clinical rotations. Written notice should be provided to the Dean of Clinical Affairs no later than 6 weeks prior to the intended return date.

All New and returning students will have their first meeting of the semester with their respective Academic Advisor. This is an opportunity to get to know your Advisor and discuss an early approach to a successful semester. The time slot will be sent to you by your advisor.
Registration
