Recognitions and Accreditations

Programs OFfered By RGU

Students begin their education on campus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Bachelor of Science in Public Health – This is an accelerated hybrid program that offers students a career in the field of Public Health. Ideal for high school graduates.  

  • Accelerated program with seven (7) semesters. Program can be completed in 2 years and 4 months.  
  • First 4 semesters are completed on campus in St. Vincent.  Final 3 semesters completed online.  

4 Year MD Program – This program is suitable for persons with a bachelor’s degree in a science discipline or college students with at least 90 credits of required prerequisites. The program consists of:

  • Five (5) semesters of Basic Medical Sciences taught on campus. 
  • Eighty (80) weeks of Clinical Clerkship at accredited teaching-based hospitals in the U.S and Jamaica.  Students complete 48 weeks of Core Clerkships and 32 weeks of elective rotations. 

5 Year MD Program – This program is suitable for high school graduates and persons who do not have the required 90 credits of prerequisites.  

  • Four (4) semesters of prerequisite courses completed in the General Sciences / Premedical Professional Pathway program. 
  • Upon completion of the 4 semesters, students are then promoted to the Basic Medical Sciences in the 4 – Year MD Program.
